Nicole S. Wagner, Ph.D.
SPECIALTIES
Dr. Nicole Wagner is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents and adults with the following issues:
* Eating Disorders (including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia
Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Compulsive Overeating)
* Self-injurious Behavior
* Relationship Issues
* Couples/Marital Conflict
* Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Issues
* Depressive Disorders
I believe that the goal of therapy should be to support the empowerment of individuals
who are in emotional distress by teaching them better coping skills and helping them
to make positive choices. When individuals explore their feelings, find more effective
ways of communicating, and learn how to alter their negative thoughts and behaviors,
they are likely to experience a reduction in their distressing symptoms and the free-
dom to embrace life in new ways.
