"I think about people as a combination of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I like to think of each of these as the corner of a triangle. When any part of our life is distressing, the triangle is out of balance. The work of therapy is to help reestablish this balance. Fortunately, thoughts, feelings and behaviors affect one another; so no matter where we intervene, we can readjust the triangle."

"As a clinical psychologist, I bring 20 years of experience and training to our partnership, as well as an integrative theoretical approach and a variety of clinical techniques. As we work together, we will address negative thoughts and behaviors, communication and emotional expression with the ultimate goal of making positive change."

Dr. Wagner earned her Ph.D. from the Ohio State University and is licensed in the state of Ohio. She has worked for over 15 years in private practice providing individual, couples, and group therapy for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Dr. Wagner combines cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and humanistic therapies to help clients cope with a wide range of emotional difficulties and distressing life events.

Dr. Wagner has specialized training in a number of clinical issues including all forms of eating disorders, grief, sexual assault, suicide prevention, and attachment issues.
